Following the resounding success of the landmark Scorpion Kings Live [with Friends] in 2025, the Scorpion Kings are set to raise the bar once again as they officially announce Scorpion Kings Live at FNB, taking place on 19 September 2026 at FNB Stadium.

After a historic night at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria last year, where tens of thousands of fans gathered in a powerful celebration of Amapiano culture, the movement now evolves into something even bigger. The 2025 edition marked a defining moment - a cultural convergence of music, fashion, and community - cementing the Scorpion Kings’ position as global pioneers of the genre.

Now, in 2026, the vision expands with an anticipated audience of over 70,000 fans! Scorpion Kings Live at FNB is set to become the largest Amapiano concert in the world - transforming one of Africa’s most iconic sporting venues, nicknamed The Calabash; into a living, breathing tribute to the sound that has taken over global dance floors.

This year, Scorpion Kings Live is A Family Affair - extending the genre’s roots to community, connection, and shared experience. More than just a concert, the event will celebrate the extended Amapiano family - from artists and collaborators to fans who have carried the sound across borders and into new spaces.

Reflecting on last year’s milestone and the journey ahead, DJ Maphorisa shared - 

“Loftus was a moment we’ll never forget - the energy, the love, the unity. It showed us just how far Amapiano has come. But for us, that was only the beginning. FNB Stadium is about taking that feeling and amplifying it for the world to see.”

Co-visionary, Kabza De Small, added -  “Every Scorpion Kings Live show is about growth - not just for us, but for the culture. ‘A Family Affair’ is exactly what this is. It’s about bringing everyone together again, bigger than ever, and creating something unforgettable.”
