The heart of Johannesburg’s urban forest is preparing to beat a little faster as the Parkhurst Village Fair officially returns to Verity Park on Saturday, 3 October 2026. Hosted by the Parkhurst Residents and Business Owners Association (PRABOA), the fair is a volunteer-led celebration designed 'by the community, for the community'.

Building on the momentum of its successful relaunch, the 2026 roadmap brings together an expanded lineup of local sponsors, artisanal food and craft vendors, live entertainment, and intergenerational wellness and family activities. Proceeds raised from the fair directly fund PRABOA's ongoing public space maintenance, environmental sustainability, and security initiatives.

Expanded Lineup of Headline and Local Sponsors

Vuma joins as Headline Sponsor, ensuring community connectivity extends beyond the digital space. Vuma's activation includes the Vuma Connected Creative Station in the Kids' Zone, dog hydration stations across the park, and special rewards for the first 100 visitors to the Vuma stand.
